Having travelled extensively I thoroughly enjoy immersing myself in the rich culture of any country I am fortunate enough to visit. Travel is my passion and I love helping clients create an unforgettable experience that is uniquely their own. 

I genuinely believe that travel is the only thing you can buy that makes you richer. I enjoy being part of each and every journey. No day is the same in the life of a travel consultant and I relish the challenge that this represents. I am flattered by the number of clients who have come back to me time and time again. 

Having travelled to nearly 50 countries, my bucket list is still never ending. I have backpacked my way through the world in my youth as well as enjoying five star luxury in more recent times. I have definitely felt richer from each and every experience. Travel is a way of life, I love what I do and that passion and enthusiasm always translates into the work I put into my clients plans.

I've spent years exploring the world, from iconic cities to hidden gems, and I love sharing that first-hand knowledge with my customers. 

Growing up in South Africa meant almost 40 years of adventure in my own "backyard" - from incredible wildlife to breathtaking landscapes. Africa will always have my heart. 

Beyond that, my travels through the UK, Spain, Greece, Turkey and wider Europe have deepened my love of history, culture, and those authentic little local moments you remember long after you get home. 

These days, my perfect holiday is anywhere I can be with my husband and our amazing daughters. As a family, we're drawn to island escapes - they offer something for everyone, from relaxation to adventure. Some of my all-time favourites include the Cayman Islands, Madagascar, Fiji and the Seychelles.

Professionally, I bring 20 years' experience in the South African travel industry, specialising in Corporate, Group and Incentive Travel. A career highlight for me was being named ASATA (Association of Southern African Travel Agents) Corporate Consultant of the Year in 2013 - recognition I'm still incredibly proud of. 

Now I'm thrilled to bring that experience to the New Zealand travel industry, here at House of Travel Rotorua. I pride myself in rapid response times, strong attention to detail as well as my calm and systematic approach. All of which help save you time, stress and guesswork.

I’ve been in the travel industry since March 2003 and after 23 years, it’s safe to say travel isn’t just my job - it’s my life.  I’ve worked across both leisure and corporate travel in consultant and management roles, which means I know the industry inside and out and how to make trips work smoothly, even when they’re a little bit complex.

I bought House of Travel Whanganui in 2019 and what a ride that’s been.  Through COVID, tough times and a full rebuild, my love for travel and this industry has only grown stronger - along with my appreciation for the incredible clients who trust me with their holidays.

I’m passionate about adventurous, experience-rich travel.  My own journeys have taken me across the globe - from European river cruises and Serengeti safaris, to bullet trains in Japan, eating my way through Vietnam, wandering tea plantations in Sri Lanka and expedition cruising in the Philippines.  I love helping my clients travel deeper, not just further.

Together with my partner, we’re raising four kids and showing them the world one adventure at a time. Next up for me personally is a trip I’m incredibly excited about — travelling from Jordan to Egypt, then attending ANZAC Day in Gallipoli.
