Feel Good On a Wellness Holiday In Vietnam

Restore your body, mind and soul.

Wellness is a way of life in Vietnam.

Vietnam has long been one of Southeast Asia’s most captivating destinations, but today, Vietnam travel is evolving beyond sightseeing alone. Travellers are increasingly drawn to experiences that promote relaxation, balance and personal wellbeing. From peaceful beaches to holistic traditions, wellness is not a trend in Vietnam - it’s a way of life.

If you’re planning a Vietnam holiday and looking for more than just ticking off landmarks, Vietnam offers a deeply restorative escape where mind, body and soul are nurtured at every turn.

Why Vietnam is one of Asia’s top wellness travel destinations.

A growing number of travellers are choosing wellness travel in Vietnam for its unique blend of natural beauty, ancient healing traditions and world‑class hospitality. Wellness here feels authentic and effortlessly integrated into daily life.

Vietnam’s approach to wellbeing draws on centuries‑old philosophies that prioritise balance, mindfulness and connection to nature. From gentle morning tai chi sessions to herbal spa treatments inspired by traditional medicine, wellness experiences in Vietnam are grounded in simplicity and intention.

For international travellers, especially those seeking a slower, more meaningful Vietnam holiday, this makes the country an ideal destination to pause, reset and reconnect.

Natural landscapes that encourage mindfulness.

Vietnam’s geography plays a powerful role in its appeal as a wellness destination. From emerald rice fields and mist‑covered mountains to serene coastlines and warm tropical waters, the landscape itself invites calm and reflection.

Many travellers find that simply spending time in nature during Vietnam travel - walking along tropical beaches, listening to waves at sunrise or enjoying ocean breezes - naturally reduces stress and restores energy.

This abundance of natural beauty has helped Vietnam become one of Asia’s most sought‑after destinations for wellness retreats, yoga holidays and mindful travel experiences.

Coastal calm: why beaches matter for wellness.

For travellers seeking a restorative Vietnam holiday, the coast offers something truly special. The gentle rhythm of the ocean, fresh sea air and slower pace of life contribute to improved sleep, reduced anxiety and a renewed sense of balance.

Vietnam’s beaches are relatively uncrowded compared to other Asian destinations, making them ideal for wellness‑focused escapes. Many luxury wellness resorts are thoughtfully designed to maximise privacy, tranquillity and immersion in nature - key elements of any successful wellness retreat.

Da Nang: the heart of wellness travel in Vietnam.

While wellness experiences can be found across the country, Da Nang stands out as Vietnam’s leading destination for wellness‑focused travel.

Situated between lush mountains and a pristine stretch of coastline, Da Nang offers a rare combination of natural beauty, accessibility, and tranquil ambience. It’s no surprise that it has become a favourite for travellers seeking a calming, restorative Vietnam holiday.

Unlike busier urban centres, Da Nang maintains a peaceful rhythm that allows visitors to truly slow down. Early mornings invite sunrise walks along the beach, while evenings are perfect for meditation, yoga or simply watching the sun dip below the horizon.

For those prioritising wellness as part of their Vietnam travel experience, Da Nang strikes the perfect balance between comfort, luxury and authenticity.

TIA Wellness Resort: a sanctuary for wellbeing.

Among Da Nang’s wellness offerings, TIA Wellness Resort stands out as one of Vietnam’s most exceptional dedicated wellness resorts.

Located directly on the beachfront, TIA Wellness Resort is designed around the philosophy of holistic, personalised wellbeing. Unlike traditional resorts where wellness is an add‑on, here it is the core of the experience.

Every stay includes:

  • Daily spa treatments, allowing guests to fully relax without worrying about schedules or add‑on costs
  • Yoga and meditation classes suitable for all experience levels
  • Private pool villas that ensure privacy, peace and uninterrupted relaxation

TIA Wellness Resort is ideal for travellers seeking a luxury Vietnam holiday with purpose - one that supports physical restoration, mental clarity and emotional balance.

Wellness experiences you’ll find on a Vietnam holiday.

Vietnam’s wellness scene extends far beyond spas alone. A wellness‑focused Vietnam travel experience may include:

Mindful movement.

Yoga, meditation and gentle movement classes are widely available at wellness resorts and retreats. Many sessions take place outdoors, allowing guests to practice while surrounded by ocean views, soft breezes and warm sunlight.

Holistic spa rituals.

Vietnamese spa treatments often incorporate natural ingredients like herbs, oils and stones, drawing inspiration from traditional healing practices. These therapies focus on circulation, energy flow and relaxation - essential components of holistic wellness.

Nourishing cuisine.

Vietnamese food plays an important role in wellness. Meals emphasise freshness, balance and natural flavours, with an abundance of vegetables, herbs, seafood and light broths. Many wellness resorts tailor menus to support detoxification, digestion and vitality.

Digital detox and deep rest.

One of the most valuable aspects of a Vietnam holiday centred on wellbeing is the opportunity to disconnect. Wellness resorts encourage reduced screen time, quiet reflection and deeper sleep - helping travellers reset both physically and mentally.

Who should choose a wellness holiday in Vietnam?

Vietnam welcomes everyone - from professionals needing a break and couples seeking a peaceful escape, to solo travellers focused on self‑care and those wanting a Vietnam holiday that feels slower and more meaningful.

Vietnam’s warm culture and excellent value compared to other luxury wellness destinations also make it accessible to travellers seeking quality without excess.

When is the best time for a wellness trip to Vietnam?

Vietnam is a year‑round destination, but Da Nang’s coastal climate is particularly appealing for wellness travel. Warm temperatures, calm seas and long sunny days create ideal conditions for outdoor yoga, swimming and relaxation.

Planning your Vietnam travel around the drier months ensures you can fully enjoy beachside wellness experiences and make the most of your holiday.

How wellness enhances your Vietnam travel experience.

Choosing wellness‑focused travel transforms a Vietnam holiday from a simple getaway into a deeply restorative experience. Travellers often return home feeling more energised, mentally refreshed and better connected to themselves.

Rather than returning exhausted from a packed itinerary, a wellness‑centred Vietnam holiday allows you to recharge, gain perspective and restore balance - benefits that last well beyond the journey itself.

Why I love travel:

Travelling takes us out of our comfort zone and inspires us to experience new things that we otherwise wouldn't in our normal day to day lives. It enriches your life from meeting new people from all walks of life, trying new food from different corners of the world, and humbles you to appreciate the small things in life.

My travel tips:

  • Always have travel insurance
  • Wake up early - whether it be to see the sunrise, or to skip a queue, or get a coffee at the local café.
  • Make a list of the things you want to experience and pre book as much as you can.
  • Stay local with everything easily accessible on foot.

My top 5 favourite destinations:

  • Italy - rolling hills and crystal blue waters, stunning villages and cathedrals, amazing food and wine.
  • South Africa - rich cultural experiences, amazing wildlife on safari, breath-taking landscapes.
  • Croatia - stunning beaches and unbelievable landscapes from the islands in the Adriatic to the Krka National Park.
  • Mexico - amazing food, fascinating Mayan culture, stunning beaches, and fabulous architecture from ancient temples to the colonial cathedrals.
  • Canada - my birth land! The people, the rich forests, lakes, mountains and wildlife.

What's in my suitcase:

  • First Aid kit as you can never be too prepared.
  • Travel Diary - make an effort to write down the highlights of your day, you will look back in appreciation.
  • Sarong or thin, long scarf - will come in handy as a towel or to cover your shoulders when need be.
  • Small change of local currency - whether it be to buy a bottle of water or a quick snack or to leave a tip.

Travel is truly in my blood. My grandparents sparked the travel bug in my mum, and she passed that passion on to me. From the moment I took my very first holiday at age three, a magical trip to Disneyland, I was hooked. Growing up, I listened to my mum’s stories from her OE, my cousins’ globe-trotting adventures, and my sister’s explorations, all of which fueled my own wanderlust.

Over the years, I’ve lived in Scotland, as well as in England and Ireland, soaking up different cultures and ways of life. I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively, exploring incredible destinations including Jordan, Israel, the USA, Australia & Europe. I’ve experienced the security and ease of organised solo travel with Contiki and Topdeck tours, but I’ve also embraced the challenge and freedom of planning my own trips, like eloping in Denmark, which remains one of my most cherished adventures.

With a background in hospitality, I combine practical knowledge with genuine care to craft holidays that are personalised, meaningful, and seamless. I love getting to know your unique travel style and what matters most to you, whether that’s family fun, a romantic escape, or a bucket-list adventure.

I’m not just your travel consultant; I’m your travel cheerleader. I’ll celebrate every countdown with you, smooth out any bumps along the way, and be just as excited when everything comes together perfectly. My goal is to take the stress out of travel planning, so you can focus on making memories.

Let’s work together to create a travel experience that’s not only unforgettable but uniquely yours.

Travel fuels my soul, the experiences, the opportunities, the culture, the adventures, I have been lucky enough to have a career that is a labour of love. Planning holidays with a high degree of skill, attention and knowledge has become my trade mark.

I absolutely adore planning epic family trips, luxurious holidays alongside organizing a lot of corporate travel business as well. I also travel a lot, as often as I can so I have up to date first hand experience in so many areas. This has given me the skill and experience to share with my clients and ensure they also come away with travel experiences second to none. I work with a large referral business and I do require appointments to fully assess what is going to be right for you and start planning your holiday.
